Dave Matthews Band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991. Under the Table and Dreaming in 1994 and Crash in 1996 made them one of the biggest live bands in the country, and "So Much to Say" from Crash won a Grammy. Saxophonist LeRoi Moore died in 2008. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.

Dave Matthews Band shows run long, with extended jams, horn and guitar solos, and a setlist that changes every night. Many fans go to more than one show on a run, and the two nights at the Garden are usually quite different shows.

The current lineup is Dave Matthews on vocals and acoustic guitar, Carter Beauford on drums, Stefan Lessard on bass, Tim Reynolds on electric guitar, Rashawn Ross on trumpet, Jeff Coffin on saxophone and Buddy Strong on keyboards.

Earlier this year it released Take Me Back: Live at the Gorge, a recording of its August 30, 2025 show at the Gorge Amphitheatre, where it played the album Before These Crowded Streets in full.

The run starts in Madison on Wednesday November 4, takes a night off, then plays Nashville on Friday November 6 and Chicago on Saturday November 7. Next are Providence on Monday November 9 and Baltimore on Tuesday November 10, and the tour finishes with Thursday and Friday nights at the Garden on November 12 and 13. Each show is its own listing, and the band changes the setlist from night to night.

Many Dave Matthews Band arena shows sell the floor as general admission standing room, which puts you closest to the stage but means standing all night, and the listing says whether a floor ticket is GA or reserved. Lower-level sideline seats give a clear view of the whole band, and upper-level seats usually cost less. Check the seat map for the exact show.

The two Madison Square Garden nights and the Saturday show in Chicago usually draw the most demand, and weeknight shows in Providence and Baltimore are often better value. We show the all-in ticket price before you pay. Call 855-855-6777 if you want a person.
