Question 1

How do I find concerts near me?

Accepted Answer

Search for an artist, or open the city page for where you live. Each city page lists the concerts we have for that area, and venue pages list every show in one building.

Question 2

Are these official concert tickets?

Accepted Answer

No. BuyTickets.com sells resale tickets, and every order is covered by our 100% ticket guarantee.

Question 3

Can I pick my seats?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open the date, and the seat map shows every listing for that event. Compare the section and row before you buy.

Question 4

Can I buy a festival pass?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when sellers list one. Festival passes appear as separate listings, and the title says which days the pass is good for.

Question 5

How are resale concert ticket prices set?

Accepted Answer

Concert prices on BuyTickets.com come from the people selling the seats. Someone who bought during the original on-sale lists those seats and names a price, and that price moves with demand for the tour. Opening night in a big market, a final show or a Saturday stadium date tends to draw the highest asks. A Tuesday arena stop, an upper-level corner or a lawn seat at an amphitheater often costs less, and some seats sell below face value. Prices can also shift in the last few days before a concert, when sellers who cannot attend lower their asks or post extra pairs. Comparing several dates on the same tour is usually the quickest way to find a better price for similar seats. The seat map for each show lists every available seat by section and row, so you can weigh the view and the distance from the stage against the cost before you choose.

Question 6

What does the all-in price include on a concert listing?

Accepted Answer

The price on a concert listing at BuyTickets.com already contains every required fee, so the figure you compare on the seat map is the figure you will be charged. Two items can be added on top: government taxes, and a shipping method you pick yourself when a show uses physical tickets. Once checkout first displays your total, that amount stays the same on every later screen. This matters most at a large show with many price levels. A floor seat and a seat in the upper bowl each carry their own complete figure, so the gap between them is the real gap in cost. It also makes a weeknight arena date easy to weigh against a weekend stadium date on the same tour. Check the quantity, the section and the total together before you place the order.

Question 7

What does the 100% guarantee cover on a concert order?

Accepted Answer

Each completed concert order on BuyTickets.com includes the 100% ticket guarantee, which covers the three problems concertgoers worry about most. If the concert is canceled, you get a full refund of the ticket price you paid. If your tickets turn out to be counterfeit, fail to get you through the gate for a reason other than something you did, or do not reasonably match the listing, that full refund applies as well. Your tickets are also guaranteed to arrive before the show starts. Seats bought together in one order sit side by side unless the listing says otherwise. Tours often move dates, and a postponed concert is handled differently: tickets are typically held for the rescheduled night. If the new date does not work for you, call 855-855-6777 so a person can review your order. The guarantee protects valid entry and on-time arrival of your tickets, while the price itself is still set by the seller.

Question 8

How are concert tickets delivered and transferred?

Accepted Answer

Most concert tickets on BuyTickets.com reach you as a mobile transfer or as a transfer into the ticketing account the venue uses, and each listing names its method before you pay. A few shows use another method, which the listing describes. Because the seller sends the tickets, timing varies from one order to the next. Some transfers land soon after purchase, while tickets for a tour date that is months away may come closer to the show. Whatever the timing, the guarantee says they arrive before the event. When a transfer comes through, accept it in the app or account named in the message, then confirm that the date, section and row match your order. Do this well before you travel to the venue, so there is time to fix a problem. If doors open soon and nothing has arrived, call 855-855-6777 with your order ID and the email you used at checkout, and someone will trace the transfer for you.

Question 9

Which concerts does BuyTickets.com sell tickets for?

Accepted Answer

BuyTickets.com lists concert tickets from coast to coast, covering stadium and arena tours, amphitheaters, small clubs, jazz rooms, symphony halls, residencies and multi-day music festivals. Pop, rock, country, hip-hop, electronic, jazz and classical shows all appear, and some tours add dates in Canada and Europe. The selection changes every day because sellers add and remove seats, so the upcoming dates near the top of this page show the current picture rather than a fixed schedule. To narrow it down, search an artist to see every listed date on a tour, or open a city page to see what is playing near you. Venue pages group every listed concert in one building, which helps when you already know where you want to go. Multi-day festival passes appear as their own listings, and the listing title states which days a pass covers. If an artist has no dates yet, check back, because new seats are posted as tours are announced.

Question 10

How do I reach a person about a concert order?

Accepted Answer

You can talk to a person about any concert order by calling 855-855-6777, the support number shown at the top and bottom of every BuyTickets.com page. Email works too, at support@buytickets.com. Before you call, have your order ID ready, along with the email address you used at checkout, so the agent can find the order quickly. Concert buyers usually call about one of a few things: a transfer that has not shown up as the show gets close, a tour date that was postponed or moved, or seats that do not match what the listing described. Calling is also the step to take when a rescheduled date no longer works for you, since a person reviews each of those orders. For questions before you buy, such as where a section sits or which days a festival pass includes, the listing notes and the seat map usually have the answer, and support can help when they do not. Keep your confirmation email until the concert is over.
